I Learned That… Personally, I admire what this people do; they make proud their country, their families, and their people. They make the name of Argentina sound louder. This people we’ve showed are little examples of this great Argentinians. The most important fact about Famous people of Argentina: 1. Maradona is the best soccer player and won a lot of recognition prizes. 2. Manu Ginobilli is one of the legends of basket in the NBA 3. Messi it’s, at present, one of the best players, has many prizes and trophies. 4. This Argentinians are examples that can teach us that we must make proud our country. 5. Pope Francisco, is the actual greatest authority, after god in the catholic and Christian church.

“Maradona” Maradona was a soccer player, his complete name is Diego Armando Maradona, received the tittle to the best player, with the 53,8 percent of the votes taken from the official FIFA site.  He was born the 30 October 1960 in Lanus, Argentina. And he has gained the best tittles in Argentina.

Osvaldo Soriano Osvaldo Soriano was born in Mar del Plata, January 6, 1943 and died in Buenos Aires, January 29, 1997. He was an Argentine writer and journalist. It was one of the best-selling Argentine authors in his country in the 1980s and 1990s. Some of his novels were published in several countries. Several of his works have been taken to the cinema.

  Lionel Messi Lionel Messi: Lionel Messi, most known as “Lio” “La Pulga” “Messias” or “d10s”, complete name is Lionel Andres Messi Cuccittini. He was born the 24 June 1987, now he is 30 years old in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.   He won the Olympic Gold Medal. Actual, he plays in a Spanish team, called Barcelona. He went to Spain in 2004, in his debut, and from that second on he has not stop success. With this team he has won 30 titles.

  Pope Francis Pope Francis is the first Latin catholic pope. His real name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio, was born the 17 December of 1936, today Pope Francis is 81 years old, he was born in Buenos Aires Argentina. Prior to entering the seminary as a novice of the Society of Jesus, he worked for a season as a chemical technician. In 1969 he was ordained a priest and between 1973 and 1979 he was the provincial superior of the Jesuits in Argentina. Later, the 20 may Juan Pablo II named him one of the principal bishop. Well in many occasions Juan Pablo II, gave his support. And finally, the 13 May 2013 in Bergoglio assumed the greatest possession in the catholic church, of course after God.

Julio Cortázar He was an Argentine writer, translator and intellectual, considered one of the most innovative and original authors of his time. Master of the short story, the poetic prose, Cortázar was the creator of important novels that revolutionized Hispanic literature. His work broke classic molds through narrations far removed from temporal linearity, and its contents move on the border between the real and the fantastic. His work is cataloged between magical realism and some place it in the line of surrealism. He lived most of his life in Argentina and then in Europe, where he lived in countries such as Italy, Spain, Switzerland and France, where he settled in 1951 and where he set some of his works. Cortazar rejected the Argentine nationality in 1981 in protest with the government of that country. He died on February 12, 1984 in Paris, France, because of leukemia.
