Project Report
A.
Investigating:
First of all my group is conformed by
me Geily Luna, Valentina Chavez, Denisse Tenorio, Adrià Fontrodona and Marieth
Valbuena. Let’s continue:
- Why?: Because in this unit we are
learning about the economy of Latin America and general data of the following
countries: Brazil, Chile, Panama, Argentina and Mexico, we choose to develop
the blog with information of Argentina.
-How?: Well we use the most outstanding
information of this country, in this case Argentina. The topics that we
consider the main and necessary to describe what is the current situation in
Argentina, these issues are:
- Economy
- Geography
- Traditions and Festivities
- Famous people
- Landmarks
- Gastronomy
Each of this theme have sub-themes
that will be the ones of describing the principle idea.
- What we want to achieve?: We want to
make a blog with a very specific information, with the given topics, be able to
express or describe with the information of this country that has a lot to give and teach.
- Where?: We will develop the blog at
school, geography classes.
- When?: The time my group and I were given to finish was
from March 7 to 26 March.
B.
Planning
The lance consisted of:
First day, decide the topics that each
one would choose to your liking, the topics were Geography, Economy, Landmarks,
Gastronomy, Famous People and Holidays and Traditions, next was to make an
account in Gmail, for all to have access to the blog, finally make the blog and
that was ready to put entries also decide who would be the person who added the
entries of their subject first.
Second, Third and Fourth Days, each
one on his own would investigate of his first sub-topics. At the same time, begin
to upload the entries in the order already coordinated previously. Have a total
of thirty entries.
C.
Taking Action:
As soon we got into our group we start
planning how we wanted it to be the final product.
First, we decided to distribute the
themes among each one, so the members of the group chose the one that seemed
most interesting to them, to Adrià chose Gastronomy, Denisse instead chose
Economia, Valentina decided to leave with two themes and these were Holidays and
traditions, and Famous People, Marieth chose Landmarks and I chose Geography.
After all the topics are determined, we
started to discuss who would put the entries first, since we wanted our blog to
have the sections ordered and fluent, and the order was as follows, Economy,
Geography, Landmarks, Holidays and Traditions, Gastronomy and finally Famous
People.
The next thing was to start developing
the blog, but we had to create an account so that everyone could write and
write their topics, after that process, the blog entries began, we decided that
each one published six sub topics of the main theme.
After a week and a half, we had all
the entries proposed in the planning, in total we got thirty-seven entries, the
seven extras were from the whole group, I mean that each one added one or two
sub topics.
Finally, we decided to add one more
entry from each one of us, we made a conclusion that nothing else got five
ideas of what we had investigated.
D.
Reflecting
First, let's start with the weaknesses and strengths of our blog. In my opinion, the main strengths are: the organization of the topics, the workflow, the most discarded and well summarized information and, finally, the background and the colors that we use to give life to the blog. In my opinion, there were no weaknesses in the blog.
The problem that we found was the time given for developing this summative task we weren't able to measure the time, I mean we could not distribute the time well to upload our entries.
The solution found was to upload four
entries to the blog every day, that gave us the advantage of being able to do
the five extra entries.
The improvement for the next summative
task would be to divide the planning well in the given time.
