Geography: Conclusion
I
Learned That…
1.
Argentina's geology
is dominated by the metamorphic and igneous rocks of the Andes to the west and
a large sedimentary basin to the east.
2. Argentina is divided into four main geographical areas: the Andes
mountain range, the Mesopotamia, the Pampas and the Patagonia.
3. Argentina
principle climate in the north of the country, including latitudes in and below
the Tropic of Capricorn, is characterized by very hot and wet summers.
4. Water
flow relevance is based on it’s potential to be used for irrigation and as a
source of energy.
5. The most
important hydrographic systems in Argentina are the Plata Basin and the
Patagonian System.
